Imagine the following: You are living in the 1970s, let’s say in Hollywood to make things a little more exciting. You are invited to a business dinner with actors, agents, producers, and a few investors. The usual suspects. The usual rumors, the new deals.
Anyway, to get back to our story, let’s just imagine someone comes up to you and asks: “Hey, James, how was your workday yesterday?”
You take a deep sip of your Hollywood cocktail, pause for a moment, and reply as follows:
First, I wrote a text directly on the computer. To save time, I wrote it directly into the text field of the program, which uses artificial intelligence to translate the text into another language in real time. Then I wanted to know how the text sounded. So I loaded the text into another online program, chose the voice of an actor, who then spoke the text for me. Artificial intelligence, of course. Oh yes, and then I created a few images and photos for the text. In another online program, using artificial intelligence again, of course. All in all, a normal day. If I had taken more time, I would have converted the text into a few videos, using artificial intelligence, of course.
In the 1970s, you would have been locked up in a madhouse for this, or celebrated as a genius of the century, or regarded as a technology wizard.
And today, just today, it’s completely normal. This was my day today.
And then there’s the audio file.
